Here are the top three stories today in East Cobb:

  1. A developer is suing the East Cobb Civic Association for “unconstitutional rejection” of a recently rejected development plan. The lawsuit was filed by Christopher M. Hunt of Green Community Development, LLC. He alleged that the association had sabotaged his efforts to build 13 luxury homes at Kinridge Court. (East Cobb News)
  2. Cobb County is asking residents for input on its Five Year Strategic Plan. The survey asks residents’ opinions on the performance of government jobs, services, and future priorities.   3. Many Cobb County communities will observe Veterans Day with special events and ceremonies. Everyone in the district can show support for our seniors by getting involved Operation Green light until Nov. 11. To participate, simply replace your porch light with a green bulb.
