10/10 Apple Harvest Festival, Blue Mountain Village
Blue Mountain Village in Collingwood, Ontario, is two hours from Toronto, but it’s worth the drive for a chance to explore the beautiful ski town. Although popular in the winter months, visiting in October between the 8-10th means enjoying the Apple Harvest Festival. The leaves will be the most vibrant and beautiful fall colors in the Blue Mountains, Thornbury, and nearby Clarksburg. The festival includes live music, hiking, biking, car rides, and free activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is also an Apple Pie Trail, which is an important part of attending this festival.

Just an hour north of Toronto, in the quaint town of Alliston, travelers can attend the Sugar Plum Fair Craft Show & Sale on November 12 and 13, 2022. It’s happening at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort and it’s the perfect place to do it. Christmas shopping begins. 8/10 Village Harvest Festival, Saint-Marie Among The Hurons
The 2022 Hometown Harvest Festival Craft and Vendor Show is being held at Saint-Marie Among The Hurons in Midland on October 8 and 9, 2022. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. evenings each day, and admission costs just $8 per person (and children under 5 are free). More than 40 vendors sell local goods and crafts at this lively fall festival.
7/10 Elmvale Fall Fair, Springwater
Located in Springwater Township, the beautiful town of Elmvale is known in Ontario for its fall festival, which is held every year. In 2022 the Elmvale Fall Fair is October 7th and 8th at the Elmvale Fairgrounds. The host, The Flos Agricultural Society, is celebrating its 160th appearance at this event. There will be parades, a truck and tractor pull, livestock demonstrations, and more.
6/10 The Norwood Fair, The Kawarthas
The Norwood Fair is being held in The Kawarthas, northeast of Toronto, on October 8-10, 2022. The theme for the fair this year is Autumn Treasures, which is in harmony with the beautiful colors in the beautiful village. of Norwood. The exhibition is from 9 am to 5 pm daily, with the middle opening at 10:30 am. There will be live music, horse shows, tractor pulls, antique car shows, cowboy contests, and other family-friendly events.

The Bala Cranberry Festival is held the weekend after Canadian Thanksgiving, this year it falls on October 14-16. The festival is at Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery. There will be a cranberry bash, wine tasting, car tours, shopping opportunities, and a chance to sample Ontario’s freshest grapes.

Travelers who find themselves driving across the border from the United States to Canada this fall through Detroit can stop along the way in the charming town of Brigden, Ontario. The Apple Festival at Stoney Creek will be held at the Battlefield House Museum & Park National Historic Site on October 8, 2022. It will include a pancake supper, pumpkin decorating, and a baking contest. The festival runs from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and is open to all ages.
1/10 The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, Toronto
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is downtown Toronto’s premier fall event. The event will be held from November 4-13, 2022, at Exhibition Place. This is the 100th year of the festival and is sure to be the biggest celebration of agriculture in the county to date. Adult admission is $30 per person for the day, allowing access to farm shows, horse shows, and more.
