Halloween is here and that means it’s time to dress up and head down to some Halloween parties. Here are some of the Halloween parties taking place in Steinbach and surrounding areas this year.

Trunk or Treat – Saturday, October 22

Phoenix Cheer is holding a “Trunk or Treat” event from 4:00PM-6:30PM in the Cheer Parking lot at 549 Traverse Road, Ste Anne.

Bring your jewelry and bring some candy. There will also be hot food, chips, and drinks for sale.

CG Open Road’s Halloween Party – Saturday, October 22

Get off at the CG Open Road Outlet (HWY 12 North in Steinbach). There will be free lunch while supplies last, bouncy castles and a coloring contest for kids as well as a grand raffle for an electric scooter. Don’t forget about a costume contest and bag tricks for the kids too! Everyone is welcome! Also, Adam Bighill will be on site from 1:00PM-3:30PM to sign autographs

Halloween Costume Dance – Friday, October 28

Pat Porter is having a Halloween Dance starting at 7:00PM. There will be a performance by the Fraser River Band and they will also have a Late Lunch Cold Plate and prizes. Call ahead to reserve your tickets.

Halloween Trick or Treat – Friday, October 28

Halloween at Clearspring Center is from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Dress up and trick or treat at the store.
The trick or treating will begin at the North Entrance (near the Dollarama) where the first 100 kids will receive a bag of food.


They will be having a fun ride in the storefront of Reitmans/Warehouse One for the kids to enjoy from 5:00PM-8:00PM.

Richer Young at Hearts Club Kids Halloween Party – Saturday, October 29

The Richer Entertainment Committee hosts the Richer Young at Hearts Club Kids Halloween Party From 2:00PM-4:00PM. There will be fashion judging so you can be surprised and win prizes. There are also medical and sports bags. It’s free.

Richer Young at Hearts Club Halloween Social – Saturday, October 29

Richer Recreation Committee and the Richer Fire Department are hosting the Richer Young at the Hearts Club Halloween Social from 9:00PM-1:00AM. There will be costume judging, a 50/50 raffle, lunch, and a DJ. Proceeds go to Richer Community Club and Richer Daycare.

Halloween Costume Party – Saturday & Sunday, October 29 & 30

Steinbach Bowling Alley & Bistro is throwing a Halloween Costume Party. Come play in your best Halloween costumes and win prizes for the best costume category. Also, win a treat for every game. The judge’s instructions will be published on their website. To reserve your spot, call 204 326 3932.

Lil’ Boo Bash – Sunday, October 30

‘Lil Steps Wellness Farm is hosting the Lil’ Boo Bash in St. Open from 2:00PM-7:00PM. Visit their Lil’ Haunted House, dress up, and pet the animals. There will be music by the Whiskey Saints.

Adults $10. Children 4 and up $5.

Halloween Barbeque – Monday October 31st

The Springfield Police are hosting the biannual Halloween barbeque at the Springfield Police Service on Halloween at 686 Main Street in Oakbank. The diner will be serving hot dogs from 4:00PM-8:00PM. There will be raffle prizes, “MYOS’s” (Make Your Own S’mores), and more! Also, Buzz and Boomer will be there from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm!

You can also bring a non-perishable food donation for the Christmas Food Hamper.

Fight with the Mayor! Haunted House – Monday October 31st

Join Ritchot Mayor Chris Ewen in this spooky spectacle for Halloween night. Explore the haunted forest, spooky pumpkin patch, and brave the ghosts of the cemetery! Can you reach the candy prize at the end? Children’s Puzzle: 11:00AM-3:00PM. Regular Event: 5:00PM-9:00PM. free entry.

Horror on 12 Scream Park – October weekends

Open 7:00PM-11:00PM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Located 1 mile south of Anola on Hwy 12. Be sure to take a trip over the Haunted Estate. If you’re lucky .. you’ll get to the main park of the horror, then warm up by the fire, have a coffee or hot chocolate and hot food. Every night is something new and different, so bring friends (you have a better chance of surviving in groups) tickets available at the door.
