Adani Port and SEZ form a wholly owned subsidiary ‘Tajpur Sagar Port’; Stocks jump 1% | Whuff News

Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd has informed the stock exchange regarding the incorporation of a Wholly Owned Subsidiary Company (‘WOS’).

The company has incorporated WOS namely “Tajpur Sagar Port Limited” on 21 October 2022 and TSPL belongs to the Port Industry.

According to the filing, TSPL has been incorporated as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company for the purpose of developing a deep sea port on a Design, Build, Finance, Operation and Transfer basis at Tajpur, West Bengal and is yet to commence its business.

On Thursday, around 1:16 PM, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd is now trading at Rs809 per share up by Rs8.7 or 1.09% from the previous close of Rs800.30 per share on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs801.50 per share and has touched a high and low of Rs810.40 per share and Rs794.85 per share respectively so far today. The current market cap of the company is Rs1,69,053.23 crore.
