Bear Creek Park has provided ten years of joy, wonder, and lasting memories to its visitors since the first light show in 2012.

This year, enjoy a renewed show that brings nature to the fore, featuring spectacular light shows that enhance the natural landscape of the park. Enjoy a safe, convenient, family-friendly light show in the park’s one-kilometer pedestrian plaza.

General Admission

Walk a 1km illuminated walking tour at your own pace with friends and family.

  • Day: November 4 to November 18, 2022 (closed Memorial Day on November 11)
  • Hour: 4:30 – 9:30pm. Entry times are available every 30 minutes

Guided Nature Walk at night

Not all nature sleeps at night! Look for nocturnal animals like raccoons, owls, bears and bats and discover how they live at night on this family-friendly nature walk lit by the night

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All participants must have a pre-booked ticket.

Plan Your Visit

No pets allowed – only service animals allowed.

Opportunity

  • User-friendly approach for visitors of all abilities
  • One kilometer of roads are paved or gravel
  • The roads are flat and varied, cool

Bathroom

  • Two portable toilets are located near the entrance

Park & ​​Sign

  • Event parking is located in the main parking lot on 88th Avenue (one block east of King George Boulevard)
  • Upon arrival, sign in at the ticket booth located southeast of the water park.
  • Have your ID ready to show the staff

Food & Beverage

  • Food trucks will be at the event on select nights offering a variety of hot food and beverages. Check back soon for the food truck schedule.
  • You can bring your own food and drinks, but remember to keep them in, keep them out. Take all your waste home at the end of your visit and separate it into the appropriate waste streams.
