new york–(Business Wire–B&H is pleased to announce the Canon EOS R6 Mark II Mirrorless Camera, RF 135mm f/1.8 L IS USM Lens and Speedlite EL-5.
It’s hard to believe that the R6 came out two years ago. As time flies and technology never seems to slow down, we are lucky to have this great camera, the Canon R6 Mark II.
Canon EOS R6 Mark II mirrorless camera

Full-width excessive 4K 60p video recording
External 6K raw video and internal 4K with 6K surround oversampling
Canon record 3

More than 30 minutes of filming
Up to 12 fps with mechanical shutter and 40 fps with electronic shutter
In-body image stabilization is rated up to 8 stops.
It might not look dramatically different, but it gets some key tweaks. The locking mechanism on the higher dials should result in fewer accidental adjustments during operation. This camera will be the best choice for advanced amateurs.
Stills get a speed boost with the electronic shutter shooting up to 40fps. Dual-pixel RAW unlocked for ultimate flexibility in post. Autofocus is one of the biggest updates with up to 80% faster performance. A deep learning algorithm can now recognize more subject types. One can now lock people, animals, horses, vehicles, trains, planes and more.
Video gets some nice updates with the ability to record in 4K up to 60p without any cropping. Additionally, the Canon R6 Mark II camera can output 6K raw video over HDMI to a compatible recorder such as the Atomos Ninja V+ for recording in ProRes RAW. The multi-function shoe expands functionality for additional accessories, including XLR adapters, microphones and more.
We’re not hurting for premium portrait optics for the R Series cameras (thanks to the 85mm f/1.2 L and DS sibling), but it never hurts to get something faster and a little longer. That’s where the Canon RF 135mm f/1.8 L IS USM sits. A premier choice for portraiture for Canon shooters, the fast 135mm lens produces stunning images with a flattering look and exceptionally shallow depth of field.

Nano USM AF system
Optical image stabilization
Very low distribution elements

This 135mm should go without a doubt as a premium choice with sharp glass and minimal imperfections – it is an L Series lens after all. Canon is going with its mirrorless systems and we’re seeing built-in image stabilization, a rarity in this type of lens. It should make handheld use much easier.
The outside of the lens has the L-series optics logo. There’s also a function key for quick access to your most used tools.
Not exactly the funniest part, on-camera flashes play an important role in many photographers’ bags. Here’s the Speedlite L-5, a new mid-range option for Canon systems. Its relatively compact size, especially when compared to the flagship EL-1, should make it a solid everyday choice for slim mirrorless cameras. This is the first flash unit featuring the new multi-function shoe found on the EOS R6 Mark II, EOS R3, EOS R7 and EOS R10.
