Canon expands its image, including the previously released IMAGEPRESS V1000, to offer advanced printing technologies to deliver high-quality output efficiently, accurately and with minimal effort.

Melville, New York, October 18, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Strong additions to the upcoming ImagePress V Series include the ImagePRESS V1350, designed to provide high productivity, durability and stability for the commercial print room. and the ImagePRESS V900 Series, which is designed to maximize automation while helping to produce glossy ink with ease. Both the IMAGE PRESS V1350 and IMAGE PRESS V900 series additions strengthen a stellar product lineup that already includes the IMAGE PRESS V1000 digital press introduced earlier this year. The entire ImagePress V family empowers both commercial and in-house print service providers with the ability to create a wide range of applications. The new engines are also designed with automation features to improve productivity and produce a repeatable and predictable product.

To get the most out of the IMAGE PRESS V Series color digital press, production environments have the ability to use print management applications such as PRISMAremote Manager.1 Providing the ability to obtain real-time status of items such as work schedules and remaining paper levels as you work to improve efficiency.

ImagePRESS V1350:

The ImagePress V1350, which replaces the ImagePRESS C10010VP, features new fusing technology that enables printing of up to 135 pages per minute (letters), up to 35 percent faster than the previous model. The POD-SURF (Surface Rapid Fusing) technology helps to increase thermal efficiency and dynamic pressure with quality and high productivity.

The internal environment components have been redesigned to help the ImagePRESS V1350 remain reliable and stable during high-speed, long production processes. Durability improvements in the feeding, registration and image transfer areas help production environments produce crisp, detailed and clear product at scale.

Designed for high-quality catalogs, booklets, light packaging and direct mail, the ImagePRESS V1350 features closed-loop controls to ensure registration alignment and color consistency in real-time on a wide variety of materials up to 500gm and larger. ImagePRESS V900 Series:

Inline Spectrophotometers (ILS), which automates the color correction and profiling process when using the PRISMAsync print server, was recently awarded a Print United Pinkel Product Award for its automatic color function feature.

Additional automation to routine, critical tasks comes with the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).2 Capable of improving registration alignment, color density and secondary transitions in an intuitive interface with just a few taps.3. Designed to reduce the need for manual adjustments and reduce operator involvement, it limits error and enables faster production of the press.

From a number of print control options, including the PRISMAsync Print Server, Image Press Server N500 and P400, both powered by the Fiery FS500 Pro system software and the Image Press Print Kit, print shops can choose a solution that meets their workflow requirements.
