From West Van Community Center to Parkgate, there’s plenty to do in the local area to make sure the whole family is having fun on Monday.

Looking for ways to keep the whole family busy this Halloween weekend? In North and West Vancouver there are special events that host trick or treating, horror stories, movie nights and more, and most come free of charge. a payment or entry fee that does not break the bank.

Lynn Valley Monster Mash

Monster Mash at Lynn Valley Village is back in the common room at the library square, with lots of activities to keep the kids entertained on the day itself. Festivities run from 3pm to 5pm on Monday, October 31 – including face painting, storytelling, kites , art and trick or treating. Dramatic fashion is encouraged.

Youth Halloween Party at Parkgate

On the Friday of Halloween weekend, Parkgate Youth Services is hosting a Youth Halloween Party for kids in Grades 5 to 12. Movies and pizza from 5 p.m. at 7:30 pm on October 28, at the youth center at Parkgate Community Centre, 3625 Banff Court. Admission is $3.

Traffic Confusion in MONOVA

On Monday, MONOVA hosts a free program for the whole family that revolves around educational content and horror stories for young people. Streetcar Scaries will run from 12:30pm until 5:30pm on October 31.

Great Grand Boulevard Pumpkin Walk

On Saturday at Grand Boulevard Park, between 13th and 15th streets, 200 jack-o-lanterns will line the paths of the park to provide a fun walk for families. Food trucks, live music and family activities will be on hand from 4 to 7 p.m. to ensure the fun continues on the evening of October 29.

Open Studio Family Art Drop-in

The West Vancouver Community Center is hosting a fashion show from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, where local kids are invited to wear scary masks in preparation for the big day. yes. Reservations are $15 and can be made on the West Van Rec website.
