STATEN ISLAND, NY – It’s Thanksgiving weekend and while most people are on a long weekend, Staten Island is definitely not sleeping.

And while the holiday weekend isn’t packed with as many options as it used to be, there are plenty of things to do with the whole family.

Special appearance by actor Scott Schwartz for a Q & A show and meet and greet in the room. Scott will have special merchandise from the show for sale.

SUNDAY – ANNADALE LIGHT TREE CELEBRATION AT 5 PM

Event hosted by the South Shore Business Improvement District and Anthony Rapacciuolo at Annadale Green

Dubbed Staten Island’s largest tree lighting, the event runs from 5 to 7 p.m.

Join us for a live performance by Miss Caroline’s Dance Elite, kiddie train rides, DJ, bouncy castle and photos with Santa. This will be held at Annadale Park located on Annadale Road next to Richmond County Savings Banks (820 Annadale Road).

This event is free and open to the public.

The Mission of the Southside Business Improvement District is to make the towns of Annadale, Eltingville and Great Kills safer, more attractive and ultimately a better place to work, shop and stayed there.
