The Federal Trade Commission announced the final schedule for its digital advertising campaign for October 19 for children who will find out how best to protect children from the growing marketing practices that make it difficult or impossible for children to recognize advertising signs from entertainment to four Digital advertising. What happened was, Protecting Children from Stealth Media in Digital MediaIt will examine the current digital advertising of children, its impact on children, and whether legal and regulatory authorities are equipped to deal with it. are now in place to protect children from harm.
FTC Chairwoman Lina M. Khan will provide opening remarks to kick off the event followed by two presentations. discusses the many digital opportunities children have, including age, culture and types of media and marketing methods used to advertise to them. The event will also feature three panel discussions focusing on:
- Children’s cognitive abilities: The interviewers will examine the special abilities of children of different ages and developmental stages to recognize and understand media and diversity. from other content.
- Current ad map: Panelists will examine the effects of current media, including any problems resulting from children’s inability to differentiate between advertising from other sources.
- It can be solved: The panelists will discuss the current legal regime, its challenges, and ways to protect children from any negative effects related to digital marketing and advertising.
