VIENNA, VA – When October arrives, it’s time for some spooky Halloween parties and other fall festivities.

Vienna has things to do for all ages throughout the month. The Vienna Halloween Parade is the highlight of the month on October 26, but there are other events to enjoy between the day of the show.

Harvest Festival: Saturday, October 8, 9am to 12pm

Town Green, 144 Maple Avenue E, Vienna, VA

There are! and the Committee for Helping Others will host this fall meeting. There will be games, food trucks, a petting zoo and face painting. Participants can bring new and gently used coats for CHO’s clothing closet at the Charity Committee.

Halloween on the Green: Saturday, October 15, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This family-friendly event includes crafts, games, moonshine, pumpkin decorating and more.

Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Open House: Saturday, October 15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will join other Fairfax County fire departments in hosting an open house to the public on October 15. This event will feature an up-close look at emergency vehicles, fire models, meet the firemen, the moon and other activities. .

Vienna Halloween Parade: Wednesday, October 26, 7 pm

Maple Avenue between Branch Road and Center Street, Vienna, VA

Vienna’s annual Halloween Parade returns with a theme of “Time Machine: Vienna in the past, present and future.” On September 16th, requests for aircraft to participate were scheduled. Children and others do not need to register to walk in the parade. The meeting place for the parade will be 6 pm on October 26 at United Bank, 374 Maple Avenue E. Trick or Treat: Sunday, October 30, 5 pm to 8 pm

Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park Street NE, Vienna, VA

The Presbyterian Church of Vienna will host this event with decorated cars offering candy to children. There will also be music from a DJ, the moon, games and crafts.
