Golden Tiki in Las Vegas announced 6 nights on Halloween | Whuff News

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – With the spooky season underway, a popular Las Vegas bar has announced it will host six nights of “Freaky-Tiki Halloween fun.”

According to a press release, Golden Tiki will begin its Halloween celebrations on Wednesday, October 26.

The festivities will feature costume contests, “awesome sound and special entertainment,” Golden Tiki said.

According to the bar, Halloween events include:

Wednesday, October 26 – Start the fun with a return 80’s Horror Nights featuring haunting soundtracks from the era’s greatest horror films. From “Ghostbusters” and “Little Shop of Horrors” to “Don’t Be Afraid of the Reaper” and “Pet Sematary”, there are sure to be horror flicks to get your spine tingling.

Thursday, October 27 at 10pm – Put your best little zombie for a scary night dance to the scary sounds of Johnny Deadly Trio, as they bring their eclectic mix of American roots, surf, black, jazz and wild rockabilly music to the Golden Tick stage.

Friday, October 28 at 9pm – Las Vegas’ own exotica lounge band, The Hypnotiquesreturn and bring a mix of jungle blues, surf, jazz, and Latin noir with them.

Saturday, October 29 – Get ready to make your best ‘All Hollows’ for a Halloween Costume Contest. The winner walks away with a $500 gift card (more prizes to be announced)! Make your plans to arrive early and crash during happy hour from 4-7pm as the Kokonut Crew takes you back to Gilligan’s Island.

Sunday, October 30 – Summon all monsters – but not the cute and delicate! Bring on the blood, gore, gore… the scarier the merrier as Golden Tiki hosts a Ball Monsters. Think of your high school vacation, but scarier. Who will be named the Monster King and Queen? Is that you? Be there or be afraid.

Monday, October 31 – Happy not having a child Trick or treat know island style. The Golden Tiki team will be handing out candy while you enjoy food and refreshments. Fashion is encouraged.

The bar will also serve delicious drinks, including:

  • Demon Seaman a classic that features Jack Rye in a creamy, spice-enhanced blend of cinnamon, Thai chile, cayenne, coconut cream and taro. Available for $8.
  • Zombie – This 1934 Don B’s classic has layers of Jamaican, Puerto Rican, and Bermudan 151 Rum playing with grapes, cinnamon and a touch of Absinthe. It’s a boozy, boozy drink for the Undead! Available for $25 with a commemorative glass or $15 for just the drink.
  • Reading Pitaya – Lays of Diplomatico rums, pitaya fruit, apricot liqueur, Falernum mix with pineapple, citrus and funky Mexican rums. Get it in a souvenir cup for $35 or get a drink for just $16. Proceeds from this drink benefit the Shade Tree of Las Vegas.
  • No Brainer – It’s a modestly priced item that should be shared with 2-4 people. The No Brainer uses spicy food and more than a dozen rums, spirits and liqueurs! Add a punch and you’ll have brains for lunch! Available for $75 per bowl.

According to The Golden Tiki, reservations are strongly recommended: However, walk-ins will also be welcome on the space.

Visitors must be 21 and over to participate.
