Texas Representative Kevin Brady sounded the alarm at the Biden administration on Tuesday about their continuing “anti-American” energy agenda that is undermining the nation’s domestic productivity.

Republicans are looking to use their newly restored majority in the House to make amends for the damage done by the Biden administration’s energy agenda.

In “Varney & Co.,” Congressman Kevin Brady emphasized the importance of putting checks and balances on President Biden’s energy policy and increasing domestic energy production as America’s energy independence continues to be a top concern for voters.

“The power of the purse is now shared. Before it was a one-party rule, so the president could do whatever he wanted unfettered. That ends now. If he wants to do anything in Congress, he has to work with the Republicans. They share budget power and they will have a say in those actions.” of management and over-management,” Brady said.

Republicans took control of the House of Representatives for the first time since 2018, and are determined to reverse Biden’s self-destructive policy by using all energy sources including natural gas, nuclear power, hydrogen, solar, wind and clean coal.

“The third force here is actually pushing legislation that shows the American people their gas prices shouldn’t be this high. Their heating oil prices this winter shouldn’t be outrageous,” Brady continued.

Brady said Americans can expect a “concerted effort” from the Ways and Means Committee in providing America with reliable and affordable energy. He argued that America is “absolutely capable” of generating and maintaining our nation’s energy needs in an affordable and environmentally responsible manner.

“The Ways and Means Committee will pull back the curtain on the public on important issues,” Brady concluded.
