holiday meals: Salem Lutheran Church in Tomball is hosting Families Feeding Families this year from 11am to 2pm on November 23rd.

The annual event organized by business leaders and volunteers offers a free Thanksgiving meal, health services, haircuts, vaccinations, community resources and donations for local families in need every year since 2011.

Renaissance Festival: The Texas Renaissance Festival at Todd Mission is open every weekend and Friday through Nov. 27 from 9am to 7pm Advance adult tickets are $27 plus fees when purchased online or $32 plus fees the day of the event. Children 12 and under get in free on Sundays.

The largest and most popular event of its kind in the state, the festival has been entertaining guests since 1974. It offers food, live entertainment and games that focus on everything from the 16th to the 18th century.

Jimmy James: Singer-songwriter Jimmy James will perform at The Barn at Frio Grill in Cypress at 8:30 pm on November 25th. It’s free.

Texas Tenors: The Texas Tenors will perform at 8 pm on November 26 at The Centrum, presented by the Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment. Tickets start at $45.

The Texas Tenors will perform their concert “Deep in the Heart of Christmas,” which will feature holiday favorites such as “O Holy Night,” “Joy to the World” and other unusual hits. like The Righteous Brothers’ “You Got That. Lovin Feelin.”

Hallmark Channel: The Hallmark Channel is partnering with Spring Creek Growers in Magnolia on November 26-27 and December 3-4 to provide entertainment, fun and giveaways.

The station chose the Christmas tree farm in seven other countries and representatives will be on the station from 9 to 5:30 pm on Saturdays and 10 to 5:30 on Sunday evening offers Hallmark-brand Countdown to Christmas and goodies. photo ops. Charlie Robison: Texas singer-songwriter Charlie Robison will perform at 7:30 pm on November 27 at Dosey Doe The Big Barn. Tickets start at $80 and include a three-course meal served at 5:30pm

Robison released his first solo album in 1996, Bandera. In 2018, he announced his retirement after surgery that left him unable to sing. According to Dosey Doe’s website, this is a rare performance from the retired vocalist and Grady Spencer opens at 6:30 p.m.

Park lights: The Light Park at Hurricane Harbor Splashtown runs daily from 5:30 to 10 pm through January 1. Admission starts at $29 per vehicle.

The drive through interactive holiday lighting consists of millions of exciting LED lights including a drive through tunnel that is the largest of its kind. in the world. All the lights are combined with music broadcast on a low frequency FM radio that can be heard once in the park. A similar exhibit by the same group is available at Katy’s Typhoon Texas water park.

The Nutcracker: The Houston Repertoire Ballet will perform The Nutcracker at the Tomball High School Theater on December 2-4. Tickets for most performances are $20-25.

A family favorite since 1998, the Houston Repertoire Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker features more than 100 dancers, local children, colorful costumes and a Tchaikovsky score. unforgettable performance by the Cypress Philharmonic. Christmas Parade: The 2022 Magic of Christmas Magnolia Christmas Parade of Lights is 5:30 to 7 pm on December 3rd, starting and ending in the Magnolia Junior High parking lot.

The trail runs from Nichols Sawmill Road to Commerce Street to 6th Street to Unity Park Drive back to Nichols Sawmill Road. The event features many sponsors and school organizations.

Christmas Country: The Cy-Fair FFA Booster Club presents its National Christmas Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 3 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. evening on December 4th at the Cypress Fairbanks Exhibit Center. Admission and parking are free.

More than 175 vendors and 225 stalls will provide a variety of products and services along with entertainment from the school choir. The event also includes chicken bingo, a cake walk and photos with Santa.

Todd Snider: Irrespective singer Todd Snider will perform a three-night tour December 5-7 at 8 pm at the Main Street Crossing in Tomball. Tickets start at $40.

The barefoot, peace-loving singer is back on the road in support of his new album released last year, First Agnostic Church of Hope and Wonder. Snider shares his thoughts on sensitive social issues in mostly poetic verse and will be in Tomball for three nights.
