In Two Upcoming LFPL Author Events, Learn How to Be Mature and How Great Leaders Give Power. | Whuff News

The Louisville Free Public Library’s fall author series will end for the year. To close, the Library offers two things: one, a presentation by a neurologist; the other, a conversation between Mayor Greg Fischer and the former US ambassador.

Both events are free, but click the link below (or call 502-574-1644) to secure your seat. After each event, each author will sign their book.

The UofL professor, neurologist and author of “Unaging: The Four Factors that Impact How You Age,” discusses “very successful” — that is, “steps you can take in your activities, food and mind, to help you live to your full potential.”


Former US Ambassador Matthew Barzun, in conversation with Mayor Greg Fischer

Free | 7 in the evening
Barzun, former ambassador to the UK and current editor/publisher of Louisville Magazine, will join Mayor Fischer to discuss Barzun’s book, “The Power of Delegation: How the Best Leaders Learn to Delegate.” The book discusses “lessons from American history and business along with insights from his work in technology, politics, and diplomacy to show how we can lead meaningful change in our companies, communities and even our government.
