Amazing Discovery Halloween

Calling all superhero fans! Learn all about and even meet your favorite Marvel and DC superheroes at the Discovery Center in Springfield October 29 starting at 10 a.m. The admission includes indoor trick-or-treating, photos, and a look at Halloween LEGO builds from the Springfield LEGO Users Group. Admission prices are as follows, children 3 – 15: $ 8.00, adults 16 – 59: $ 12.00, seniors 60 +: $ 10.00, military (with ID): $ 7.00, members of the Discovery Center, children under 2, and ASTC reciprocal: free.

Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl

October 29 from 6-8 pm, the dead will rise again for this extraordinary event! A parade of zombies will make its way down Spring St with a terrifying procession of cars, entertainers, and other decorated vehicles. Everyone is invited to participate and dress for the theme.

Battlefield Mall’s Halloween Boo Bash Party

Families of the Ozarks are invited to Battlefield Mall’s JCPenney East Court on Saturday October 29, from 1pm – 3pm for an afternoon of Halloween fun including crafts and gifts.

Tree or Treat at Pat Jones YMCA

Bring the family in your best costume to this fun and free event at the Pat Jones YMCA October 29 from 3-5 pm, or decorate your own truck and hand out candy! 21 Years of Winapalooza

Calling all winged geniuses! This is the oldest competition in America hosted in the Queen City. Find out who has the best wings in Springfield November 5 at the Springfield Expo Center from 11am-5pm Proceeds go to the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield. Live entertainment, multiple wings, and other vendors will be at this unique event. No strollers, outside food/drinks, and large bags are allowed. Admission is $20 for general admission, $50 for VIP.

6th Annual Outdoorsman Expo

The Springfield Shriners invite you to celebrate outside at the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque with food, games, and more. This is one of the biggest events they host each year and is home to a 100 gun raffle! This event starts at 11 am on Saturday November 5. Admission is free but tickets are $20.

38th Annual Bear Bash

The MSU Handball Team invites everyone to come play their favorite sport. All ages and abilities are welcome. Colleges from all over the country, alumni, and local athletes will participate in this three-day event, starting on November 4, but on Sunday, November 6 at Robert W. Plaster Stadium in Springfield. Kiwanis Trivia Night at Hammons Field

Food, fun, and giveaways are the proceeds of this event, with proceeds benefiting children and youth programs in Springfield. Costumes are encouraged but not required, and tickets are $25 per person, or $175 per party of 8 – including food and beverages. Doors open Saturday November 5th at 5:30pm and start at 6:45pm at the Bill Rowe Indoor Training Facility.
