Strategic Elements continues to prove the ability of its Energy Ink cells to generate usable levels of electricity from water to air.

New ways mean more energy

Current work includes testing new ways to make Energy Ink cells that can significantly improve performance and replace those used in the Energy Ink pack completed in the September 2022 quarter.

The development opened the way for R&D of large Energy Ink systems either through Energy Ink packs with several large connected cells or large Energy Ink cells. Testing has continued throughout and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2023.

Separately, Strategic Elements’ mineral exploration business Maria Resources has been awarded $220,000 in co-mining funding under the Western Government’s Exploration Incentive Scheme for the Leviathan REE and carbonatite rare metal target.

Carbonatites hold the potential for great discoveries. For example, WA1 Resources is up ~1300% since announcing the discovery of carbonatite with REE and niobium in the middle of last week in Western Australia. Maria believes that the gravity anomaly has been a high penetration of alkaline and carbonatite that can be connected by the field of volcanic pipes, which are related to carbonatites and other types of penetration that are more expected in rare metals and rare earths.

The results are currently awaiting optical microscope analysis of drill cores from previous drilling around the Leviathan target to identify the potential of the alkaline system (or related carbonatite) in the area.
